We’re looking for a highly driven and motivated Regional Operations Manager for our team in Pakistan. The role is based in Pakistan and will report into Head of Operations.
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Receives inbounding stock from vendors and / or their distributors while checking for quality, quantity compliance, purchase order terms as well as general business SOPs
Ensures product placement within warehouse evolves over time based on which products are fast moving and which ones are slow moving so that continuous optimization is achieved
Responsible for steering the warehouse operations to the agreed SLAs and KPIs
Collaborating with the Warehouse Managers on the performance of the warehouses across the country and provide necessary suggestions to improve it
Proactively recommend and implement operational goals, objectives and process improvements
Takes ownership of performance improvement initiatives to execute smooth operations
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Has a hands-on approach and love going into details to better understand and shape solution to our daily operational issue
Understands objectives of other stakeholders and aligns solution for enterprise level advantages
Ensures smooth customer experience through a data driven approach on warehouse operations
Understands cost - benefit implications of decisions in both brand and value perspective
Understands retail value chain and anticipates problems early to safeguard customer experience
Bachelor’s degree in any field from a reputable university
At least 6 years of progressive experience in roles of similar capacity, with direct experience in merchandising or buying, and category management
Superb business judgment with a track record of making successful negotiations, building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Able to work autonomously in a highly demanding and ambiguous environment
