Overview

Ipas is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending preventable deaths and disabilities from unintended pregnancies and unsafe abortion.

Through local, national and global partnerships, Ipas works to ensure that women and girls can enhance their sexual and reproductive health via affordable, safe, respectful and comprehensive abortion and contraceptive care.

Under leadership of the Sr. HS advisor, the Health Systems Advisor is responsible for providing programmatic and technical assistance to health system partners for successful implementation of PAC and comprehensive contraceptive clinical services.

This includes supporting : site start-up through close out, training and mentoring initiatives, monitoring, data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities :

  • TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE : Supports the implementation of clinical compliance policies and programmatic standards related to Quality of Care to improve training and health outcomes through Ipas Pakistan interventions.
  • Supports the review, analysis and use of data for program improvement. Site identification, screening selection and preparation to ensure that sites have proper equipment and supplies.

    Ensure the implementation of supportive supervision, monitoring and follow-up systems including reporting of adverse events.

    Coordinate with Health Systems technical resources in NC as required. Travel 50% required for training and follow-up supervision.

  • TRAINING & SERVICE DELIVERY : Plan and manage training strategy for various health care cadres implemented by local partners.
  • Supports local partners on development of training package, trainings and service delivery monitoring within Ipas programmatic and clinical guidelines.

    Models adult learning techniques, and effective training approaches to enhance the technical capacity of trainers, and clinical mentors.

  • REPRESENSTATION : Supports documentation, knowledge sharing and exchange of best practices to foster quality of care through technical networks, regional platforms and cross-country exchanges
  • WRITING AND REPORTING : Provides input in proposal and program design, and donor reports.
  • COORDINATION, COMMUNICATION and COLLABORATION : Coordinate, communicate and collaborate with Community Engagement team for planning and accomplishment of CE activities and outcomes.
  • CORE REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s Degree preferred; clinical background desirable; 5+ years relevant experience;
  • Experience in SRH technical programs and trainings preferred
  • Fluent in English, Urdu,
  • Good computer skills.
