Responsibilities include, but not limited to :
This role will provide leadership and drive vertical integration of technical, commercial and logistics operations team members to deliver ASICs for Micron’s mNAND products into commercial and automotive markets.
Responsible for on-time delivery of cost-leadership ASICs to Micron product development and manufacturing teams. This role will drive ASIC Stage Gate approvals, operational planning, and execution from NPI (tape out) through high volume manufacturing to end of life for internally developed mixed signal CMOS ASICs.
Desired experience and qualifications :
Excellent understanding and proven experience with entire ASIC development flow from requirements to High volume manufacturing, and system level understanding of ASIC integration into mNAND products, incl.
functionality, electrical and mechanical requirements.
Strong manufacturing Product Engineering background in storage ICs including extensive experience working with high volume manufacturing subcons in Taiwan from wafer fabrication through probe.
Expertise in commercial and automotive ASIC test methods and qualification. Knowledge and application of IATF 16949 and ISO 26262 required
Excellent technical program leadership skills must include planning, execution, excursion management and root cause analysis.
This leader will communicate daily to vendors, operations teams, management peers and senior management.
Demonstrated expertise of operational topics including forecasting, budgeting, logistics and vendor management.
Experience in device reliability and Siemens Teamcenter.
Minimum Qualifications :
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong skills explaining technical and operational concepts to a wide range of audiences including more senior engineers, management teams and executives.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in CMOS ASIC Manufacturing Product Engineering and Technical Program Management role.
