Job Description

  • Job Purpose :
  • The role of the Delivery Lead is to plan, develop, execute, track and implement Corporate Channel Internet Banking platform within the baseline timeframe, budget and scope parameters, including overseeing the quality and compliance controls throughout the project life-cycle.
  • This Role will oversee the Run and Change the bank’ functions of Corporate Global Transaction Banking suite of platforms.

  • Global Transaction Banking portfolio includes Corporate Channels (Internet banking, Mobile Banking, Host to Host), Payments platform, Trade Finance platform, Corporate Collections, Liquidity Management, Supply Chain Finance and Virtual Account Management.
  • Responsibility includes : Technical ownership of the system and their operating environments including maintenance and enhancements.
  • Guiding and mentoring the team and delivering unique service by providing high quality of delivery and support.

    Operating Budget : $3 Million

    Key Result Areas :

  • Develop & Maintain Customer facing channels to meet product, organizational objectives and meet project success criteria.
  • Guide stakeholders in envisioning and scoping projects, perform project planning, task sequencing, tracking, addressing project risks and ensuring quality of deliverables.
  • Define roles and responsibilities. Build teams for high performance and manage including appraisals.
  • Co-ordinate team resources to complete assigned tasks within project / BAU targets.
  • Assist in preparation of project & annual budget. Ensure capacity planning is performed regularly to ensure adequate system resources are available to support changing demands.
  • Provide technical guidance, information and instruction to other IT staff requiring broader subject knowledge.
  • Ensure systems (hardware and software) in all environments meet security baseline standards.
  • Manage a diversified application development team of professionals both onshore, offshore and outsourced who are responsible for critical applications delivery & support bank wide.
  • The position will directly or indirectly be responsible for RCSA, infrastructure, security, audit, risk, incident & SLA management, architecture, human resources including engagement, budget financials & tracking, capacity planning, project delivery, vendor management & outsourcing related to the team.
  • To identify and highlight best practices in support management through continuous assessment, process driven and implementing the thus optimizing resources (both onsite and offshore).
  • Ensure the smooth everyday running of the support team ensuring that SLAs are met and that quality targets are achieved and consistently maintained.
  • Ensure satisfactory transfer of "Care, custody and control" of product upon completion
  • Experience in agile methodology
  • Experience in latest technology stack of Java, Microservices and Devops , CI / CD

  • Interact with management and project stakeholders from various business and support functional areas. Performance review and other aspects of HR management.
  • Plan and review MIT projects, MBOs, SLAs and Incidents.
  • Special initiatives & projects - deliveries as key technology leadership team member
  • Ensure that the management is (always) informed of all risks, issues and their status.
  • Define / conduct Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Plans for applications under responsible domain. Adhere to banks operational risk policy.
  • Close working relationships with all Divisional Heads, Managers; as also with the Bank’s other support Divisions including different technology work-streams

  • Requirements

  • 15+ years’ experience in the IT field of which 7-8 years in team, project and program management.
  • Oracle OBDX application delivery & support. 24*7 support across 5 regions. Vendor Management, Governance, Review, Cost Negotiations.
  • Effort and estimation reviews.

    Must Have - Prior Experience of Technical Lead on OBDX / FCDB, H2H, SDK development other Corp Channels.

    Must have technical skills - Java 8 and above, Oracle Database, Oracle PLSQL, REST services, SOAP web services, ORM / Eclipselink, Oracle Web-logic, CSS3, SASS, nodeJS, JQuery, Knockout JS

    Good to have - Oracle JET, Grunt, Node JS, Jenkins, Apache Ant, Shell scripting, Chef, Jenkins, Java, Springboot etc.,

  • Understand Functionality and work with business groups and manage CRs and critical programs.
  • Manage and handle service pack upgrades.
  • Responsible for Capacity management on periodic basis.
  • Responsible for Service Optimization.
  • Responsible for Stability and uptime of OBDX.
  • Cross border team management experience.
  • Strong business orientation, domain knowledge to comprehend user requirements.
  • Strong organizational, team building and leadership qualities.
  • Experience in Micro - services framework
  • Experience in cloud native implementation
