The Demand Data Analytics Manager is responsible for the development of a robust, un-biased and comprehensive statistical sale forecast for products split across multiple regions including EM, EU, US & Intercontinental Markets for GSK.
The Demand Data Analytics Manager is responsible for driving improvements in forecast accuracy and securing as a result improved customer service and lower working capital.
Education, Skills and Experience
University Graduate with Supply Chain Professional Qualification preferred
At least 4-6 year of experience in Supply Chain preferably in Demand planning and S&OP process.
Role requires the individual to be highly numerate with sound knowledge of how supply chains operate end-to-end. Need thorough understanding of statistical models and the practical usage of these in a sales forecasting environment and ability to debate complex issues with peers, seniors & colleagues
Experience of multiple business cycle in Commercial Sales / Marketing / Demand Forecasting / Finance operations, ideally in a Pharmaceutical environment
Team management and people development experience preferred
Specialist knowledge of Demand Forecasting, preferably managing strategic therapies / brands / market
Responsible to support the Demand Forecasting processes, Providing Analytical, Process and Administrative support to all regions / markets in scope.
Lead Planners and Analysts team operating a standard process for the creation of statistical baseline forecasts and ensure optimum forecasting models are applied to each SKU generate best forecast.
Partners with the LOC Marketing teams and leads the monthly Forecast Review Meetings to discuss baseline forecasts and agree any forecast adjustments across relevant Therapies.
Ensure data accuracy is maintained among all data set and timely execution of standard work activities which feeds into the key Core Commercial Cycle (CCC) meetings including Demand Review, feeding through to Supply Review and regional S&OP meetings.
Responsible for the calculations of demand forecasting KPIs and thereby provide Analytical intelligence to suport root cause analysis to drive improvements in accuracy, bias, working capital and customer service including On-Time-In-Full (OTIF).
Responsible to ensure, through input from the LOCs, that there is a comprehensive total volume forecast including New Product Introduction, competitor activity and Tenders to ensure proper production planning is in place.
Promotes a one number’ mindset to drive business decision-making and forecast transparency / functional accountability
Contributes to strategic global and regional projects that will use demand forecasting as a lever to unlock further benefits in GSK's supply chain including Inventory Reduction, ERP, Supply Chain Transformation etc.
