  • Develop, communicate and implement results-orientated marketing strategy from regional market understanding and evolving needs assessment
  • Be agile to synergize different characteristics of the markets and consolidate themes at the cluster level in alignment with Area and EPD’s overall direction
  • Evolve the promotional model, using multi-channel approaches to increase sales and division margin over time. Utilize online and offline channels and new approaches to connect with our target audiences.
  • Test and learn on new channels as appropriate in the cluster and the affiliates

  • Ensure activities and priorities are aligned with divisional strategic priorities
  • Ensures that TA / product managers lead identify and lead product launches, campaigns and marketing plans, with related sales force training and education
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the region, and become a therapy and product expert within the region.
  • Stay abreast of worldwide business developments, understands trends, their implications and opportunities (eg customer, technical, healthcare, regulatory etc.
  • and accordingly Seizes new business through using worldwide marketplace, technology and business knowledge.

  • Identifies and takes opportunities by working with other divisions.
  • Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short and long term issues that must be addressed; providing information;
  • recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.

  • Responsible for short and long-term market forecasts and reports provided by the product managers
  • Monitor the activities of competition at the marketplace to retain or improve company market share
  • Influence present and future products by determining and evaluating current and future market trends.
  • Seek new growth opportunities through line extensions, in-licensing, co-promotion, acquisition etc.
  • Prepare for and participate in Plan / LBE reviews. Own forecasts used in long-range plan development.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and commitment to quality and compliance.
  • Closely monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure that resources are spent in line with plan commitment.
  • Develop, motivate and challenge staff to achieve top performance.
  • Liaising closely and influencing the sales team in each market to ensure promotional campaigns are developed appropriately and executed effectively.
  • Provide leadership to build, maintain and develop the Region Marketing organization
  • Able to work in a matrixed organization with high emotional intelligence and be agile to respond to multiple challenges and stakeholders
  • Understand P&L management, identify and mitigate risks as it relates to financial drivers of the business at all levels.
  • Make decisions based on ROI and KPIs, and course correct as needed
