We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Senior Manager Nursing to join our team! As a Sr. Manager Nursing, you will be responsible for organizing and managing all the nursing operations at BIH.
You will perform a range of duties including maintaining department budgets, setting long-term and short term day to day needs and goals.
Overseeing record-keeping processes. The ideal candidate for this position has proven experience in a nursing leadership role, outstanding organizational skills, and in-depth knowledge of healthcare industry policies.
Duties would include but are not limited to the following :
Manage and lead all nursing personnel operations
Develop short and long-term goals for the entire nursing department
Supervise and evaluate performance of the nursing staff
Functions as a role model for nursing staff by being tactful and diplomatic at all times; mentors and provides leadership for nursing staff
Supervises a variety of personnel actions to include, but not limited to, hiring, merit recommendations, promotions, transfers, vacation schedules, leaves and dismissals
Develop and execute staffing plans, forecasts and procedures
Establish collaboration and build long-term relationships with relevant departments
Set objectives, long-term goals and track KPIs
Evaluate staff performance and prepare accurate reports detailing your findings
Establish new policies and update existing policies to improve the standard of care for patients
Respond to any nursing-related issues in a timely manner
Coordinate with medical staff and other departments to ensure hospital efficiency
Identifies existing / potential problems and takes effective action
Develops / maintains an awareness of needed improvements in patientcare, procedures, equipment / supplies, and makes recommendations
Reports to the Medical Director on regular basis in order to address issues of system functionality, staffing, corrective actions, mission changes, changes in procedural practices, policy issues, nursing issues and employee disciplinary actions
Assists in developing, revising, interpreting, and ensuring compliance with the Govt. policies, procedures, and goals
Ensures the proper flow of relevant information (policies, procedures, operational issues, personnel matters, clinical concerns, in-services, unresolved problems, etc.
to supervisor and supervised personnel
Oversee all record-keeping processes and ensure all necessary documents are accurate and up-to-date
Plan and oversee admission, nursing, and patient care processes & make staff schedules
Provides other services and performs other duties as assigned
Academic Qualification : Preferably qualified MScN or BScN along with MBA in Hospital Management and current licensure as a registered nurse from PNC
Experience : 7 10 years of professional experience, of which 5 years of managerial role in a healthcare setup preferably in Joint Commission International Accredited (JCIA) Hospital
