We require a technical report writer with the objective to provide support by offering intellectual and knowledge resources across different sectors in the areas of research, capacity building, and impact assessment for direct program implementation.
Terms of Reference
Gather and analyze technical information from various sources for desk review and to document new or changing trends across multiple sectors
Obtain a deep understanding of Viamos products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content
Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
Drafting scope of work and report outlines as per the project requirements
Write, format, edit, review, and proofread report for technical and nontechnical users
Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet report release dates and client deliverables
Develop and maintain detailed databases of appropriate reference materials
Team and Reporting Structure
Reports to Director of Programs
Works in close consultation with the programs team based in Islamabad
Qualification / skills
Master’s degree from a reputable university
5+ years of demonstrated excellence in report writing
Ability to understand and convey the nuances of behavior change in a compelling manner for technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated understanding and experience of working in key thematic areas of development (Health, Routine Immunization, Family Planning, COVID-19, Education, Agriculture, Financial Inclusion, Gender Empowerment, Governance, Youth Development)
Excellent report writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Ability to analyze data using SPSS or Stata
Proficiency in MS office (Excel or Visio) to visualize data and processes
Ability to deliver high quality reports with meticulous attention to detail
Outstanding general knowledge as well as multi-sectoral knowledg
