Short-term Consultancy as Finance Associate


Ipas works globally so that women and girls have improved sexual and reproductive health and rights through enhanced access to and use of safe abortion and contraceptive care.

The Finance Associate assists to Finance Manager in

1.General Accounting and financial management function and support for the country program.

2.These include timely submission of payments to partner invoices, monitoring of partner organization budget and identify variance against budget.

3.Prepare monthly withholding tax statement for FBR and submit the same to Tax consultant for submission.

4.Performing treasury function such as dealing with banks and disbursement of cheques to vendors and other suppliers.

5.Prepare monthly bank reconciliation

6.Support Divisional team for any Finance related issues and prepare monthly cash reconciliation

7.Review procurement process in workday and ensure that all PRF enter in systems need to be followed the SOP of Ipas.

8.Assist in donor reporting, audit and compliance

Assist in preparing cash request on monthly basis for cash advance from NC office Ipas


  • Master of Commerce in Accounting or Bachelor of Commerce
  • At least 3-5 years of professional work experience preferably two years of that with an international NGO / development sector
  • Well organized, ability to assume broad responsibilities for complex administrative functions
  • Relevant technical expertise with financial accounting methods
  • Demonstrated computer experience and use of accounting software
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to organize people and activities
