The Agent Business Unit is looking to add a talented individual to our team as a Customer Service Billing Specialist. The Specialist will support our customers by successfully resolving outstanding payments from monthly invoices.

In addition, the Billing Specialist will conduct tasks and activities on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure monthly billing of customer accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly tasks and activities that relate to billing recovery and monthly billing events
  • Act as the first of communication with clients, focusing intently on customer satisfaction, relationship management and billing recovery.
  • Take inbound and make outbound billing recovery calls on a fast-paced goal-oriented team
  • Reconcile customer disputes regarding outstanding balance
  • Regular update accounts receivable database
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and departments.
  • Meet and / or exceed performance metrics
  • Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction through timely response and successful resolution
  • Write professional responses to agent emails using proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. Use prewritten templates, when appropriate.
  • Interact regularly with Development, Customer Success, and Implementation groups in the North America office.
  • Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction through timely response and resolution.
  • Complete training sessions, videos, knowledge base, to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and methods.
  • Required Skills :

  • 3+ years' professional experience in a Customer Service or a Billing Recovery role supporting web-based products in North America or Europe
  • Experience receiving inbound phone calls and conducting outbound phone calls in a fast-paced, high volume, high growth atmosphere
  • Excellent negotiation skills, ability to gain trust and confidence with customers, management and peers
  • Ability to manage workload to a deadline
  • Ability to identify root cause issues, offer possible solutions and / or next course of action
  • Experience with standard business environment software, such as Operating Systems (e.g. Windows), office word processing and spreadsheet software (e.g. Word, Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in a professional manner with a wide range of people
  • Knowledge of billing and collection procedures
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several different tasks at once
  • Quick and flexible learner with a motivated and positive work ethic
  • An aptitude for caring for Customers and must have the analytical ability to resolve customer issues
