Job Summary :
The candidate must possess an in-depth knowledge of the software used to complete assigned tasks. Promote an atmosphere of individual and team excellence.
In coordination with Client Rep ensures proper keying of payments. Coordinates daily work with Client Rep and Team Leader for client to ensure timely insurance filing, reporting, follow-up and collections.
To provide client support functions to include responding, researching and resolving client inquiries in a timely manner.
Work with management to achieve corporate goals.
Job Responsibilities :
Maintain productivity and quality standards while keeping at least a 90% accuracy rate.
In coordination with Team Lead maintains the batch control process of payments and adjustments prior to, during and after entry into the billing system.
Refers to Team Lead any questions regarding Explanation Of Benefits provided prior to payment entry.
Enter payments and adjustments against the appropriate services on accounts for the month whenever necessary. Balance payments and adjustment to credit entry and adjustment reports.
Offset and re-key adjustments when a retraction and repayment is made to correct contractual adjustments when necessary leaving the correct claim balance.
Independently evaluate and resolve issues as needed. When appropriate, escalate issues to maintain acceptable support response time and customer satisfaction.
Appropriately communicate with Supervisor and Team Lead with on going issues through their resolution.
Work effectively across departments as needed to achieve common goals.
Follows all internal policies and procedures to ensure timely completion of work.
Provides internal assistance, when requested.
Actively contribute to the Company's efforts to provide excellent client service.
Comply with the ethical and legal requirements, specifically HIPPA regulations.
Job Qualification :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
High school Diploma or equivalent.
One-year claim data entry experience in a healthcare setting or related field with approved experience.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as an excellent team player. Must be able to cooperate and work effectively with all levels of expertise within the organization.
Ability to analyze issues logically and efficiently and address multiple priorities in a professional manner.
Must be detailed oriented.
