Manage all elements under food safety section of 3-D scorecard for foods as well as beverages and drive improvement along with regular review with business leadership team.
Lead to develop and execute a strategy for all plants in Pakistan CU to maintain sites at a sustainable Quality & food safety standard at all times and able to successfully pass AIB audit with no unsatisfactory or major observations.
Collaborate with all bottling plants to strengthen the GFSI recognized food safety program at their sites with right capability and focus in place to deliver sustainable results.
Develop a formal training and capability development agenda based on right TNA (training need assessment). Lead Quality & food safety capability development through effective training program including from induction to expert level food safety trainings for all sites.
Lead food safety and food defense risk assessments of operations for foods and beverage facilities and ensure review and update in case of any change to address the right time controls on any identified risk.
Develop and implement PepsiCo crisis management protocol effectively ensuring product recall within 12 hours during annual dummy recalls programs for Pakistan Foods as well as beverages.
Collaborate with Diversey / Ecolab to ensure proper CIP / OPC audits for all sites in Pakistan. Engage the beverage management to troubleshoot the identified opportunities and improve score on sanitation audit compliance.
Lead annual comprehensive deep dive on food safety program and management system for each site in CU. Support Ops Managers in QAS audits of beverage plants.
Propose clear recommendations based on deep dive to drive and strengthen food safety agenda at each site. Conduct quarterly reviews with leadership team of each site to share progress and set way forward on improvement.
Lead the agenda of food safety in design related to foods plants and actively collaborate with project teams to ensure active and on time feedback on food safety related opportunities in any new project.
Coordinate beverage quality related communications with bottling plant, Ops managers and regional team. Lead 3D Quality and food safety programs through coordination and collaboration of regional and bottling plants teams.
Qualifications / Requirements
Master / Bachelor Degree in Food Technology
Good knowledge of material testing and quality assessment
Lead auditor in food safety management system
7-9 years with FMCG
Efficient and comprehensive approach
Auditing and influencing skill
Communication and facilitation capability
Innovative and understand key business driver
