A Day in the Life

A first rate opportunity to be the Business Manager of Medtronic

We offer you a role in which you will lead the execution of the business development and marketing strategies through a team with a view to both sales and profitability goals.

Main Job Duties / Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with high profile customers, accounts and opinion leaders
  • Serve as a strategic leader for the Business, partnering with senior management in leading business-wide initiatives that deliver sustainable revenue growth and increased profitability
  • Lead the development of the Business Strategic Plan, working in close collaboration with business leadership in developing strategic and tactical plans to achieve long-term growth objectives.
  • Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) asset performance of the business unit.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Business Development, Reimbursement, Clinical, Regulatory Affairs teams will play a critical role to success.
  • Maintain the company’s ethical position. Effectively communicate and manage company business conduct policies.
  • Develop and maintain a through understanding of the customer base. Effectively build a positive working relationship between Medtronic and key accounts.
  • Execute Team Management , Talent Management, Career Planning skills as a team leader
  • Must Haves

  • BA / BS / MBA / MS / MA degree or Medicine Faculty graduate
  • Related job experience in management & sales healthcare sector
  • Medical Field Background is highly preferred : Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Healthcare etc.
  • Good experience in developing and leading market initiatives and setting up business plans.
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams and cross geography teams.
  • Knowledge of marketing analysis, practices, strategies, planning.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
  • Frequently travelling will be required to visit the Partners
