The Job
You will be responsible for :
Partnering closely with the business to ensure compliance to quality standards, oversee audit activities and assist in quality management reviews.
Conducting regular quality assurance audits and following up post-audit to ensure that non-conformities are addressed in a timely manner and corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
Ensuring accurate and timely entry of product complaints into quality tracking systems and reviewing and maintaining quality systems and procedures in accordance with best practice and relevant regulations.
Driving the continuous improvement and optimisation of processes to maximise safety, quality and productivity.
Analysing plant performance and proposing as well as implementing processes to improve the consistency of operations.
Developing SOPs and Process Flows for new and / or modified equipment and procedures to meet functional and reliability requirements.
Determining critical process metrics that can be monitored on a regular basis.
Conducting process audits and resolving audit findings.
The Profile
You have at least 5 years experience including solid experience in a similar role within Industrial.
You possess excellent communication and influencing skills, are organised and able to multi-task effectively.
You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
The Employer
Our Client started its Gloves Knitting unit with the installation of 15 computerized Japanese Shima Seiki machines .The unit initially started off producing plain knitted gloves for the Japanese, German, Australian and UK markets which then expanded towards the US, South American and far east markets.
