About the role

As a Marketing Director you will lead Pakistan's marketing function managing marketing, communication, digital, and brand.

Responsibilities :

  • Manages and implements the Marketing / Branding strategies and set plans on how to execute.
  • Ensures Demand KPIs are met in Pakistan including customer acquisition and retention.
  • Develops the proper segmentation and identifies customer personas
  • Owns the marketing calendars and prioritizes channel spend based on ROI.
  • Oversees the digital spend and media buying on digital and social media platforms.
  • Manages efficiencies of marketing / commercial activities through providing the right measures of campaign assessments / ROI measurement / reporting tools and BHT
  • Works closely with regional team to align on marketing strategy / demand plans and global or regional campaigns.
  • Assesses and implements pricing strategies.
  • Provides post campaign assessments with a close eye on ROI making recommendations for improvements
  • Manages and syndicates market research when needed.
  • Works with the marketing and PR agencies, as well as the Careem team to create creative marketing campaigns.
  • Leads, coaches, mentors and inspires Careem Pakistan's marketing team.
  • About you :

  • Bachelor / master’s degree in marketing or any Relevant Subject
  • Must have at least 15 years of proven experience in a marketing and branding role, with min 5 years in senior leadership position.
  • Able to manage marketing and PR agencies.
  • Advanced communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Digitally savvy having managed a digital function for at least 3 years with good knowledge of performance marketing, SEM and SEO.
  • Profound knowledge on the different marketing channels.
  • High-level knowledge of marketing and branding understanding and a diverse skill set across multiple areas, including strategic and conceptual thinking, content creation, analytical thinking, and high business acumen.
