Begin your exceptional career experience with EY Ford Rhodes in Business Tax services as Tax Associate. This role requires basic knowledge of tax and accounting and the capability to support manager while working with clients as well as tax authorities.

Key responsibilities

Preparing monthly withholding tax statements / sales tax returns.

Assisting in handling day to day queries.

Preparing details / information for submission to tax authorities.

Assisting in preparation of legal response to statutory notices.

Assisting in drafting legal opinions.

Appearing before the tax authorities.

Work effectively as a member of professional advisors, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress

Collaborate with a team of tax professionals to combine diverse cross-border experience with local tax knowledge across a broad spectrum of industries

Participate and assist in preparing for meetings with management teams

Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties

Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel

Qualifications :

o Candidate must be ACCA Affiliate, ACMA (ICMAP) qualified / finalist or B.Com / M.com with LLB qualification from a reputable university.

o Have 0-1 year of working experiences in Tax Consulting preferably in Big-4 firms, however, fresh qualified with interest of Taxation can also be considered.

o Should be capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting established goals & objectives within the specific deadline, while maintaining high quality at all times.

o Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills in dealing with people at all professional levels will also be highly valued.

o Fluency in English is mandatory both verbal and written.

o Should be proactive, highly motivated and able to work effectively in a team.

o Familiarity with MS Office application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.
