Wavemaker is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally.

We are currently looking for a Digital Lead to join us. In this role, you will be responsible to work closely with General Manager Digital GroupM Pakistan and regional teams to devise digital strategies for a portfolio of brands as well as aligning and identifying new revenue streams.

This role reports to : Managing Director - Wavemaker & Chief Digital Officer

  • In this role, your goals will be :

    In three months :

  • Understand and manage client expectations and work on deliverables
  • Independently manage the client and bring in new digital ideas for the client / brand portfolio.
  • In six months :

  • Setting the digital way-forward for brands, setting the digital direction.
  • New platform exploration and develop connected platform digital media solutions.
  • Successfully pitch for new businesses.
  • In 12 months :

  • Emerged as the contact person both internally and amongst clients for digital solutions.
  • Become the team lead on the account.
  • Showcase digital work done for awards.
  • What your day job looks like at Wavemaker :

  • Oversee Digital Leads operations and their teams to ensure smooth strategy development.
  • Identify and drive new platforms, technologies and tools in the local market in line with the global GroupM tech stack.
  • Ensure the right selection of touch points in line with campaign objectives and Global best practices.
  • Identity additional revenue stream and business opportunities.
  • Lead new client pitches and provide complete digital frame work to support the overall pitch plan.
  • Be proactive in troubleshooting and crisis management.
  • Oversee target achievement and annual KPI deliverables.
  • Manage local and global business stakeholders. Ensure support on all local, regional and global deliverables.
  • Monitor competitors vigilantly and devise strategies to stay ahead of the curve by identifying potential innovation opportunities.
  • Make retention plans for existing clients and develop good working relation with client teams.

  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Experience of at least 6-8 years in media / digital planning, buying and creative.
  • BBA / MBA from a reputable university or equivalent.
  • Google AdWords and other certifications.
