We are looking for a highly talented Head of Procurement to join our growing team in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have a track record as a significant individual contributor as well as a strong team player comfortable working as a leader, supporting a team, and working closely with the management teams to drive strategic initiatives forward across the region.
Develop and communicate a procurement business plan; establish, communicate and implement long-term goals for the department in order to promote effectiveness and efficiency.
Develop an efficient and balanced supplier base, build good business relationships, and drive supplier performance by using appropriate metrics and scorecards.
Serve as the primary contact for procurement related questions, training, policy and procedure interpretation and alignment by all departments.
Develop and manage a centralized procurement program with a focus on its ability to enhance organizational value and efficiency;
Meet regularly with respective departments regarding procurement for their understanding and / or recommendations to enhance policies, procedures and develop, communicate and implement new / revised policies, procedures and programs as needed.
Continually innovate and develop tools and processes to automate, streamline and improve the procurement function.
Ensure that all procurement policies and procedures are adhered to.
Oversee the contracting process including administration, archiving and post-execution.
Provide procurement training for the procurement team and broader organization.
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
At least 8 - 10 years of experience in Procurement, with expertise in purchasing, supplier collaboration, development and compliance
Experience in regional supplier management, contract management, strategic sourcing, and building a vendor program
Results oriented and metrics-driven, with strong communication skills, with fluency in English.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people across all organizational levels.
