We’re currently looking for Manager Business Operations to join our B2B Solutions team. You will help oversee an end-to-end supply chain ensuring Pandamart for Business has the right stock available at the right quantity, at the right place and at the right time.

Key Responsibilities :

Supply management

  • Develop and execute an optimal strategy, pricing, availability, and cost prices to expand margin
  • Work very closely with the acquisition and account management teams to ensure that any rate, volume requirements and service delivery levels are met as per commitment and any operational limitations are communicated in advance
  • Ensure corporate pantry categories have the best assortment and competitive prices in the market through local sourcing
  • Build a strong supplier base, negotiate and renegotiate optimal commercial terms.
  • Provide insights, forecast demand and ensure consistent supply.
  • Ensure supply chain continuity and procurement of Fresh / Grocery / Office Supplies
  • Determine the most cost-effective and sustainable initiatives in the supply chain.
  • Demand Planning

  • Contribute to the demand management cycle ensuring availability and low shrinkage (wastage)
  • Manage demand compilation process owning the short-term and the long-term forecast
  • Use regional supply and demand planning tool and work on its continuous improvement
  • Continuous development of channel to ensure working capital management and correct inventory valuation
  • Managing timely recording and liquidation of wastage and expiries
  • Managing the 3PL

  • Responsible to oversee and provide governance towards our appointed 3PL, ensuring performance vs. service level agreement which involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring their operations of warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain processes
  • Liaise with Commercial, Operations (3PL) and acquisitions / account management teams to continuously improve sales opportunities
  • Continuous ROI measurement to determine that we are getting the best service at the best possible cost and drawing comparables between insourcing and outsourcing options
  • Requirements :

  • At least 8 years of experience in supply chain operations or warehousing and logistics in the grocery / food industry
  • Should have prior experience of category management and pricing
  • Solid competitive intelligence to stay abreast of pricing and other service delivery T&Cs offered in the market
  • Good knowledge of local tax laws pertaining to e-commerce sales for all provinces
  • Comfortable being in the fast moving environment
  • Working knowledge of performance / operational metrics and ability to derive data based decisions
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and hands on attitude
