Inclusive Investment Advisor - Pakistan Investment Promotion Activity The purpose of USAID / Pakistan Investment Promotion Activity (IPA) is to strengthen Pakistan’s business enabling environment to build greater credibility of Pakistani institutions, improve the ecosystem for foreign direct investment, and increase U.

S.-Pakistan bi-lateral trade and investment. IPA is expected to work closely with the Government of Pakistan to build its capacity to streamline business practices, improve operational transparency and governance, promote regulatory reforms and competition with an aim to reduce the cost of doing business, strengthen the investment climate for foreign investors in Pakistan, and promote opportunities for enhanced trade and investment between U.

S. and Pakistan businesses. IPA is also expected to work closely with the private sector stakeholders to ensure that the abovementioned reforms are developed and implemented in collaboration with the private sector.

IPA will address the following areas :

  • Address business enabling regulatory environment for investment promotion
  • Address institutional reforms, ease of compliance and doing business, and transparency
  • Address U.S.-Pakistan Bilateral Trade and Investment
  • Address mobilization of FDI and U.S.-Pakistan Bilateral Trade
  • The Kaizen Company (Kaizen) is a dynamic, fast-moving company that implements prime projects for USAID and other donor clients.

    Kaizen is actively seeking an Inclusive Investment Advisor for the USAID Investment Promotion Activity in Pakistan. This is a part-time role based in Islamabad, Pakistan. Minimum Qualifications :

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in gender studies, international development, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of general gender experience, including 3-4 years of that experience within the economic growth domain.
  • Experience working with international donors or the Government of Pakistan is preferred. Experience with USAID or USAID funded projects will be strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing project management support and oversight to ensure ongoing programming.
  • Demonstrated understanding of monitoring and evaluation, including achieving gender and inclusion objectives and targets.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including strong writing and editing capabilities.
  • Strong skills in effective client relationship management, including management of relationships with stakeholder counterparts.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and ability to work well under pressure.
