This position will spearhead the marketing operations for OLX Pakistan. At OLX, we believe in lean teams. The position of head of marketing should be hands-

on and live the spirit of one-man-army . He should be a functional expert with proven experience in producing success in the field of performance marketing, media planning / buying, on-

ground activation, event management and creative content production.

Along with this, the candidate should be data savvy in order to analyze the business operations and form correlation between marketing numbers & business metrics.

Willing to work in a VUCA world with high ownership to oversee marketing tasks with an end to end approach. You will be working with a brand manager, content manager, designer, animator, editor, videographer and photographer along with a network of functional support agencies.

Looking for a leader who knows how to collaborate across different departments and live the company’s agenda rather than departmental KPIs.

What you will be doing :

  • Define our strategic vision for marketing and oversee implementation of our strategy including digital and performance marketing, TV, activation, events and PR
  • Setting goals and analyzing advertising campaigns and promotional projects
  • Planning the use of media channels for 360-campaign
  • Supervising work of different marketing areas
  • Performing within KPIs & goals of advertising campaigns and promotional projects
  • Review online analytics to identify areas of opportunity and utilize conversion rate optimization tactics (eg split testing) to maximize performance
  • Research user behavior and insights
  • Manage marketing budgeting & planning processes
  • Managing external partners and agencies, including suppliers sourcing
  • Working in line with brand values & scripts
  • Working with legal and reporting documents, conducting financial statements
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate best practices into our marketing operations
  • Who we’re looking for :

  • 10+ years of experience in advertising and marketing communications, with senior managerial experience not less than 5+ years in brand management
  • Strong strategic vision of brand values and experience of value proposition development
  • Experience in the development and implementation of marketing communications for mass-market brand
  • Experience of planning campaigns 360 various media : TV, OOH, digital, Activations, PR, events
  • Experience in e-commerce, internet projects, online ventures.
  • Experience with Website Design / Development, Landing Pages & Email Marketing
  • Advanced analytic skills and experience with online advertising tools (Facebook, Google etc.)
  • Ability to take on responsibilities and to work autonomously as required
  • Ability to multi-task while juggling priorities
  • Full professional proficiency of English
