Objectives of the Position
Assist the Cluster Head Health & Hygiene in developing the strategy for the sales of animal nutrition and related chemicals.
Chalk out an effective plan to increase the market share of the said business segment, identify and capture new business opportunities and achieve sales and profit targets stipulated in the annual business plan.
Support effective implementation of systems and processes resulting in delivering EHS target set for the country and conformance to regulatory and environment standards in respective business.
Assist the cluster head health & hygiene in developing and executing the business unit strategy to deliver sustainable and profitable growth and market share.
Lead in executing the segment strategy to deliver sustainable and profitable growth and market share.
Drive in effectively executing the annual business plan and related marketing and sales plans and policies to deliver on sales and profit targets.
Create value proposition for the customers through conducting seminars and workshops and provide innovative solutions and technical support to develop new businesses as well as retain existing sales.
Assist industry cluster to execute sales activities to achieve sales targets and develop long term relationships with existing and potential customers
Develop proposals on sales, marketing, and technical solutions for new and existing customers.
Develop and execute segment strategies for Customers & Key Accounts and ensure regular communication with the KAM team (Regional and Global).
Develop sustainable relationships with customers, channel and other key partners, external influencers and internal stake holders to support achievement of strategic and short-term objectives.
Provide Customer specific solutions for sustainable development through managing and utilizing local technical development center.
Provide technical support for new product launches and secure additional business opportunities by identifying key customer needs in terms of product application, service requirements and pricing structure for specialized products.
Also share necessary information with other functions (e.g. credit control, logistic, customer services).
Manage margin for the segment via effective Product Portfolio Management.
Use perspective sales process to ensure sustainability.
Collect customer data, feedback, and expectations as input for preparation of presentations, seminars and workshops to promote the products and services.
Work as a catalyst to support innovation through new customer and product development, new Go to Market approaches and new ways of working to develop business, enhance customer satisfaction and resource optimization.
Anticipate, adapt and respond to market dynamics and change and create the right approach to address both expanding and declining market.
Produce regular market intelligence & customer survey reports and identify new avenues to ensure continues business development
Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Animal Health / Chemistry / Veterinarian
Working Experience : Minimum experience of 4-6 years in marketing / sales of Animal Health and related Chemicals
