You will be working as a Sales Specialist and will be the part of Electrification Business Area for Global Market Division based in Karachi, Pakistan.
In this role you will be reporting to Local Sales Manager and will be responsible for planning and implementing proactive promotional activities for the assigned target audience (Retail Market, consultants, design institutes, engineering / architect offices, authorities etc.
in order to create the market demand and need for the features / products.You will also be building long term customer relationships with identifying and developing sales opportunities by introducing, presenting and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools with main focus in Din-Rail Products, Ability™, ATS solutions.
You will be responsible for sales of products or systems or services within a designated market in accordance with strategy.
Strategy : Implementing proactive promotional and business development activities for the customer target group, including e.
g. technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars and education material.
Targets : Achieving key targets (e.g. volume, price, and mix) from Retail Market, ABB Ability™, ATS solutions and specification of ABB solutions.
Training : Managing and driving education of the target audience by conducting and organizing appropriate training interventions.
Marketing : Ensuring efficient marketing activities and strong value proposition to customers by using effective promotional techniques.
Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy.
Prescription : Specifying our ABB products or solutions in the market establishing solid and trustable relations with EPCs and consultants.
Customer Relations : Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product / systems / services offering, and align to provide a solution.
Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
Market Intelligence : Continuously assessing market trends, customers, competitors, industries, applications and analyzing to identify and realizing opportunities with existing and potential new customers within the target segment.
Feeding back to Line Manager on market trends, competitive landscape, market-pricing expectations, channel strategy and local conditions to win.
New Market Opportunities : Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
Administration : Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting collection and project management activities when needed.

A Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3-5 years Sales & Marketing experience in low voltage power distribution products / systems
Excellent skills in Customer relations with mature selling behavior and actively driving discussions and negotiations to the benefit of the customer and ABB business.
Ability to engage with and explain new technologies quickly and effectively.
Good knowledge of ABB offering, products / systems.
High standards of HSE and Integrity.
