Overview We are seeking applications for the post of Head of Sales & Marketing . The person will be responsible to lead the sales team across Pakistan, play vital role in developing sales strategies, collaborating with other products, provide valuable inputs in overall company s strategies, and implement them to deliver profitable growth to organization, enhance customer retention and achieve the financial objectives, Group guidelines and policies.

  • Develop and implement an effective commercial strategy in accordance with the group business strategy and the global / regional sales strategy to meet the sales targets.
  • Leverage understanding of the local business environment to support the development of a successful sales strategy.
  • Support Managing Director to devise and fine tune strategic directives
  • Define, monitor and enforce targets to the operational units
  • Responsible for achieving Sales business targets and Sales Index
  • Provide Sales & Marketing advice / information to senior management team to facilitate business performance review and evaluation
  • Develops Sales motivation initiatives to keep high Sales performance towards the annual business target
  • Develop, and build strategic partnerships with clients and customers.
  • Conduct sales calls / visits / approaches either independently or in collaboration with sales team to develop and establish effective business relationships with customers and explore their needs.
  • Skills, Qualifications & Experience :

  • Minimum 8-10 years of working experience in field sales at freight forwarding or carriers (shipping line or Airline).
  • Master’s degree is preferred in relevant field.
  • Thorough knowledge of Logistics & Freight Forwarding business and understanding of Product offering & compliant with industry norms.
  • Proven success in a senior Sales role, with specific experience in selling to major global customers
  • Established industry network and presence to nurture business development relationships and opportunities.
  • Possess excellent, effective written and verbal communication skills.
