Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and track monthly expenses for accruals and payments for the global Careem Pay vertical.
  • Ownership of closing process for the vertical. This will include review of journals, analytical review of monthly results and account reconciliations.
  • Demonstrating strong technical accounting acumen to be able to conclude on accounting treatment of new product launches, projects, and complex transactions.
  • Identifying and driving process improvements and automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and drive toward global standardization by working closely with Finance, Sales and Central Teams and other key stakeholders.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of the business and products to facilitate preparation of analytical review for internal and external reporting.
  • Being a strong team player, who can operate globally, cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization, taking ownership and demonstrating self-initiative.
  • This role will report into the Senior Director of Finance & Regulatory Affairs, Careem Pay.
  • Requirement Summary :

  • The ideal candidate will have experience of 2-3 years
  • ACCA Qualified
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to engage with all levels of the organization and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Results oriented, strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask
  • Expert in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Oracle
