Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Help Desk Executive to support and technical assistance to BIH staff who are using software, hardware, or other computer systems and need help completing tasks or troubleshooting problems through diagnostic tests and remote access to their computers.

As post holder, you are responsible for the tasks such as but not limited to the following :

  • Manages acquisition, installation and maintenance of the organization’s Local Area network hardware / software and office equipment.
  • Installs, configures and troubleshoots Microsoft windows OS and MS Office and other necessary software’s
  • Facilitates staff members by establishing e-mail address, data backup, ensuring efficiency of hardware and software and other IT related matter.
  • Provides / requisites solutions e.g., modification / upgradation of IT system / infrastructure if needed for any Medical purpose.
  • Installs, Manages PABX Telephone System
  • Provides & implement Audio / Video Conferencing Solution
  • Hourly, Daily, weekly and monthly backup of all data of users
  • Responding to queries via email, or phone
  • Training other staff members on troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
  • Writing, editing, and revising training manuals for new and updated software and hardware
  • Providing technical assistance for questions and problems
  • Resolving problems with networks and other computer systems
  • Diagnosing system errors and other issues
  • Following up with staff to ensure full resolution of issues
  • Requesting feedback and / or monitoring calls and other methods of correspondence to improve training methods
  • Running reports to analyses common complaints and problems
  • Installing or changing software to fix issues
  • Remotely accessing hardware or software for staff to make changes and fix problems
  • To manage necessary installation and updates of software
  • Qualifications

    Bachelor's in Computer Science or Bachelor's in IT

    Experience : 2 - 3 years of practical experience with Network Repairs and Analysis.

    Skills & Abilities :

  • Strong Computer Skills and the Ability to Troubleshoot and Diagnose Problems
  • Familiarity with PC Hardware and Software
  • Worked on firewalls i.e Fortinet
  • Ability to Communicate Effectively to help BIH staff to fix their issues and feel satisfied with the experience
  • Must have strong grip on CCTV system
  • Education in Computer Repairs and how to Troubleshoot Problems and Specific Knowledge of other required Computer Systems for different work environments
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
  • Great attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Additional Information

    Salary : (25,000 to 35,000)
