Job Purpose :
The role will work independently to manage daily operations and responsibilities for Treasury & Insurance function. Also supporting department Manager on projects to improve processes and bring operational efficiency.
Educational Requirement :
ACCA / MBA (Finance) rs
Experience Requirement :
2 years industry experience
Experience in managing banking & Insurance function of the company including relationship with various financial institutions
Deep understanding of IFRS and local accounting and reporting process
Strong Analytical Skills
Team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties
Ability to handle pressure situations and meet short deadlines
Key Responsibilities :
Responsible for day to day treasury cash management activities including cash report, FX settlements, payments & liquidity funding.
Co-ordinating with the bank for daily business issues.
Responsible for all treasury and insurance related monthly closing activities.
Preparation of audit schedules in line with GLs and responsible for closure of audit queries
Working with the Treasury manager to undertake online bank account administration activities, banking mandates, supporting platforms.
Active participation in renewal of all insurance policies and liaising with insurance companies for timely renewals & implementation of policies.
Ensuring prompt coverage or deletion of all company assets.
Claim lodgment and follow up for claims until settlement.
Work with internal departments to resolve operational problems that arise related to treasury and insurance activities.
Understand and follow all treasury & insurance policies and procedures in undertaking the daily activities.
Maintain database of all banking contracts, insurance policies and other department records.
