This role is responsible to deliver Global Busiess Services (GBS) Strategic Road map aligned with Group Transformational agenda, unlock new growth opportunities, inspire the organisation to believe in the new approach, co-create the future marketing services.

This role will have strategic participation in shaping up the Marketing Strategy of the future as it will contribute to the modernization of our Marketing approach which is moving beyond conventional combustible tobacco products.


  • Portfolio services : Develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels. Researching the market, analyzing trends to help define the organization's marketing strategy, and providing advice as to how to best approach the target market.
  • Provide input into marketing projects in related areas to ensure the timely input of a consumer centric perspective and up to date findings.
  • Assimilate and analyze data from various sources to determine appropriate strategy and advise stakeholders on actionable next steps.
  • Support the team in identifying and recommending new business opportunities through actionable and forward-looking insights delivery.
  • Provide insights to understand consumer behaviour, perceptions and needs in relation to the product landscape, to drive the development of differentiated offers into the end market portfolio.
  • Support development and delivery of End Market Consumer insights and diagnostics to inform brand strategy, improve deployment and drive business towards consumer centricity.
  • Supporting marketing strategies for projects, including company websites and social media, marketing campaign effectiveness, campaign results and project recommendations to senior management team.
  • Supporting development of in market consumer, customer and competitor insights by ensuring delivery of actionable and forward-looking insights.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive competitive analysis.

  • Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals. Coordinate the creation of digital content.
  • Manage end-to-end digital projects. Establish web presence to boost brand awareness. Maintain a strong online company voice through social media.
  • Liaise with Marketing, Sales and Product development teams to ensure brand consistency.

  • Leads by example to drive a high performing culture within project teams.
  • Ensures that projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets and expectations, and adhering to established operating parameters;
  • negotiates changes in project resources as necessary to achieve objectives and timelines.

  • Drives and ensures close working relationships with EM and DRBU Marketing community, Senior Marketing Managers and Marketing Leadership teams.
  • Identify and develop improvement opportunities in current Marketing to Sales proceseses to enhance the effectiveness of the demand planning process within the organisation.

  • Do you have proven experience in Marketing Transformation?
  • Do you have proven track record in Marketing, especially in Consumer Marketing, Trade Marketing execution, Trade Marketing development, Channel and Key Account Management, SP&I, Brand management?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Brand
  • At least 8 years of work experience, Brand Marketing / Trade / SP&I in BAT and / or FMCG environment.
  • Demonstrates strong commercial acumen by viewing situations and making decisions from a business perspective.
  • Strong analytical ability to proactively identify trends, issues and opportunities and translate these into insightful & compelling commercial stories and recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to deliver impactful presentations
  • Ability to influence and create buy-in from senior stakeholders.
  • Ability and proven experience in high level negotiations that are effective and yield results.
  • Resilient when obstacles are encountered and bounces back from setbacks
  • Strong leadership capabilities.

  • Nice to have : Proficiency in using various marketing and analytics tools such as : Marketo, Google & Adobe Analytics, Social Media Networks ads & listening tools (Sprinklr etc), SEO and SEM tools, CRM systems (e.
  • g. Salesforce) and content management systems.
