About The Job
This exciting role will challenge you to develop an ecosystem for restaurants to survive, grow and scale their business operations.
In a nutshell, generate value for the restaurants! You will be responsible to develop another business line for foodpanda through establishing a Vendor Facilitation Program.
This Program will help in sourcing of food related products, best suppliers, quality products at cheaper rates, finance sourcing and much more.
Helps in building ecosystem where the restaurant industry of Pakistan is operating and bringing them at par so they function to optimal level
Carry out research and development to understand industry’s best practices and facilitate the vendors with the same so they uplift their work pattern
Partnerships and collaborations helps the restaurant business going but the restaurants do not have capacity to work over this, the incumbent is supposed to look for such partnerships and collaborations that can help the restaurant in a positive way
Indulge in talks with the potential partners and influencers that can help the restaurant business grow identifying the area of opportunities and diversion
Identify gaps in the market by analyzing the market trends and facilitate the restaurants with consultation and road maps
Responsible for developing channels that can help the small-medium restaurants with the loans for the business growth and make a mechanism of micro financing
Sourcing of packaging material, raw material and other essential ingredients to facilitate the restaurant base with the pool of sourcing available on request
Secure different channels of sourcing so foodpanda always have a pool of sourcing for the restaurant base, in need
Work on the aspect of capability building by uplifting vendors technologically in areas of POS system, digitalization etc.
Facilitate vendors with what best foodpanda has, i.e. the data! Share the insights as to what works best, segments to tap on, cuisines to make and customer preference to obtain better numbers
Developing an Online 2 Online strategy aligned with the other teams in vendor operations to provide with best suggestion regarding presence on social media for better customer experience
Look for learning and development opportunities for vendors that can facilitate them in the business growth and sustainability
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant.
Has an acute sense of responsibility and can take full ownership of the function.
You have at least 4+ years of work experience in a similar role.
You are process-oriented and data-driven
Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, or Google equivalents
Your knowledge of the internet and e-commerce sector is solid
You are driven and ambitious.
Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and follow up skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative and cooperative team setting, with numerous interaction with internal and external customers.
