To conduct and supervise investigations into counterfeit, smuggling and other criminal activities as they affect MDLZ operations.
To conduct sensitive investigations in support of the Business Integrity function related to conduct of MDLZ staff pertaining to violations of Code of Conduct Ensure all investigative activities regardless of client -
are coordinated with Regional LIS and are fully compliant with applicable laws and MDLZ guidelines. Global Security Projects & initiatives -
Specifically support the Area Security Manager in advancing Global Security initiatives in Pakistan.
These initiatives include Risk Management, anti-Counterfeit, travel security management and diversion programs, security awareness trainings, SSM training, and investigations.
Keeping Area Security Manager Middle East & Pakistan Incumbent will keep Area Security Manager Middle East & Pakistan informed about emerging security threats and about evolving political / economic environment.
Benchmarking & Best Practices The incumbent will develop and maintain a network of professional security contacts throughout the region, and be a member of OSAC in key markets.

Economic situation :
The rapidly evolving business environment in Pakistan, along with cyclical economic fluctuations, increases the risk of fraud against the company.
The incumbent will need to be effective in helping the company deter fraud, and investigating suspected cases of fraud.
Limitations of Local Law Enforcement :
Law enforcement authorities in Pakistan are overburdened and underfunded.
This will create and extra burden on the incumbent as he / she will have to develop innovative solutions to security challenges without the expectation of law enforcement support.
Risk of Organized Crime :
Organized crime is capable of coordinating systematic pilferage and robberies of MDLZ products.
The incumbent must develop programs to meet this threat in a cost-effective manner.
The counterfeiting of MDLZ products is another serious threat that organized crime is engaged in within Pakistan.
Kidnapping for ransom is a local threat which could also affect local employees.
Terrorist Activity :
Pakistan has faced challenge with multinational and domestic terrorist groups.
The incumbent must develop programs to mitigate the risk of terrorism which could impact MDLZ personnel and operations in Pakistan.
Risk of Political / Civil Disorder.
The locations under the security supervision of the incumbent are located in regions where there is higher risk of political and civil disorder.
ISC Pakistan Hub Site :
The MDLZ manufacturing sites are located at Hub, Baluchistan which is a high risk site.
The location is under security supervision and the incumbent will have to ensure that the he establishes the grapevine to gather intelligence regarding security updates and risks.
The incumbent will be coordinating with local government authorities to process NOCs for the visitor's travelling purposes and manage the visitor's security.
Have an understanding of the site ER issues & policies for the management of security risks.
