Senior Global Security Manager
This is a Global Security Senior Manager (JG 90) position to cover APAC countries as assigned by the GS Sr. Director overseeing the APAC Region.
The Senior Manager in this position will be expected to protect the Company’s real and intellectual property, reputation, and the integrity of our medicines, upon which the public relies to live happier and healthier lives.
The Global Security Senior Manager, Investigations / APAC will identify, asses and mitigate product integrity risks affecting Pfizer.
The Senior Manager in this position will also develop and implement investigative matters that respond to Pfizer’s APAC Regional business needs and will form strategies for implementing a robust product integrity program.
The Senior Manager will operate at a senior level and must have the proven ability to work cross functionally and influencing others at all levels.
Identifies and develops sources of information, witnesses, and other investigative actions to facilitate Product Integrity investigations and resolve other investigative matters that impact the Pfizer business activities in APAC
Develops information and conducts transnational smuggling and contraband trafficking investigations to intercept and seize illicit Pfizer products in the APAC Region in coordination
Coordinates investigations as appropriate with Foreign and U.S. law enforcement agencies; monitors all investigations until a full resolution is reached as determined by the GS Sr. Director.
Provides expert witness testimony to foreign prosecutors and at criminal hearings before judges on behalf of Pfizer Inc as a GS representative in the Region in coordination with empowered Legal Consultants and the GS Sr. Director.
Responsible for working with investigative and empowered legal consultants to develop intelligence, providing investigative leads and facilitate criminal investigations in concert with foreign law enforcement agencies and government officials.
Manage external consultants, negotiates contracts, provides leadership and guidance to consultants once retained, and assess their accountability and value of services provided to GS and Pfizer business colleagues
Provides product integrity / anti-counterfeiting training to law enforcement agencies as required by the GS Sr. Director
Documents all investigative matters and activities in the Pfizer GS data base for review by the GS Sr. Director
Maintains an excellent working relationship with all Pfizer business and GS colleagues; and, quickly develops a Pfizer Corporate and Regional leadership knowledge that is essential to the performance in the position.
Develops and investigates collateral maters from other GS Directorates as assigned by the GS Sr. Director.
Develops and presents Product Integrity awareness training regarding Pfizer products and anti-counterfeiting strategies to protect Pfizer trademarks in the market to foreign law enforcement and government officials.
Implements and guides regional or country level anti-counterfeiting working groups or task forces to develop country-specific strategies to generate intelligence on counterfeiting
Develops and maintain sound liaison with local law enforcement and regulatory agencies as well as US officials in the region
Country Managers, PGS Site Leads, BU Leads, Medical Information, Public Affairs, Compliance / Legal Directors, product managers, Communication colleagues etc.
Skills / Knowledge / Qualification / Experience
5 or more year’s National or Federal law enforcement experience that includes developing and conducting transnational smuggling and contraband trafficking investigations in the field is required5 or more years’ experience with investigation of product integrity matters is preferredPreference given for demonstrated successful examples of working with vetted US Embassy LE teams.
People management or development, and demonstrated skills training foreign law enforcement experience is preferred.Knowledge of international trade practices, freight forwarding, and international transfer of funds preferredExperience with fraud investigations is preferredKnowledge about pharmaceutical supply chain is preferredKnowledge about business acumen is preferredExcellent organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and capable of working independently or as part of a team requiredDemonstrating the ability to communicate and present clearly and concisely at a superior level, both written and orally in fluent English for the purpose of referring cases to Ministries of Health and law enforcement agencies, required
