The Position :
We are looking for a Junior / Midlevel Software Developer , who will be responsible for the design, development, and release of our organization's applications.
Working closely with our development team to ensure successful operational deployment of new applications while maintaining business continuity of existing applications.
This is a hands-on technical role.
Primary responsibilities include :
Develop innovative applications in a VB / C# .NET environment
Develop and maintain a variety of applications that integrate with each other
Participate in the designs of new features
Deliver high-quality code within specified deadlines
Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with both team and leadership
Participate in scheduled software release and smoke testing
The chosen individual will work out of the Contour Software Karachi / Lahore resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.
Desired Skills and Responsibilities :
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong interpersonal and team relationship skills; able to work well individually or as part of a team
Ability to learn and master new technology and is personally committed to continuously improving through self-development
Strong problem solving, technical, application / system troubleshooting skills with the ability to think clearly and resolve issues efficiently under pressure
Contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring accuracy, quality, and responsive delivery times in all duties. Perform thorough unit testing and ensure that software developed integrates into the core system
Provides the information people need to know to do their jobs and to feel good about being a member of the team, unit, and / or the organization;
provides individuals information so that they can make accurate decisions; is timely with information
Some experience in SQL
Some of my experience in .NET / VB / C#
Excellent spoken and written English is essential
