1. Banking Compliance & Monitoringa. Reviewing Bank statements to ensure that all accounting entries are accurate and reconciling bank accounts to ensure that all transactions have been properly recordedb.
Ensure all banks Accounts in countries are authorised from IRW and its reconciliation with IRW Treasury Portal.c. Follow up with countries for the updated Bank List and signatoriesd.
Follow up with countries to upload monthly bank reconciliations on one drive before the cut-off date.e. Ensure that all the Information related to Banks are available on Country Finance One drive2.
Assist RFC to ensure timely and accurate processing of international transfer requests within set deadlines.a. To assist RFC to ensure transfers are processed in line with finance processing timelines and to have proper documentation in file for all transfers and projects as per audit requirements.
b. To assist RFC to reconcile transfers on a monthly basis with field offices, ensuring consistency between IRW and field office ledgers3.
Risk Management a. Works with the Field Offices to make sure all Banking policies and procedures are being followed precisely and with no corners are cut.
b. Prepare training materials for anti-money laundering effortsc. Inform and advise the senior management regarding proposed and pending regulatory changes4.
Field Visit Travel and Emergency Deploymenta. To be ready as back up to travel emergency deployment within 72 hours and be available to be deployed at least 6 weeksb.
To participate in coaching / capacity building field visits and undertake assignments to work in field offices as required.
5. To support the department and its wider stakeholders. a. Provide Support to all field offices as and when requiredb. Take part in conducting finance training across the IR familyc.
To attend finance unit and other team meetingsd. To document all processes.e.
