Assistant Manager - Capability & Technology Development
Capability & Stewardship :
Sound knowledge of core supply chain functions (Warehousing, Logistics and Procurement)
Develop on-boarding module for Supply Chain for new hires.
Identify capability gaps and assist in developing programs to address gaps. Implement programs, develop metrics, and track success.
Set expectations and metrics, provide regular updates, and check / adjust as needed.
Builds personal capability through self-study, professional associations, and training workshops
Works collaboratively across multiple functions to accomplish goals and steward financial governance and technology initiatives.
Development of an E-Learning Portal for Supply Chain
Management of technology development programs including technology / product conception and project definition and development activities.
Responsible for project progress tracking, updates and status reporting.
Problem resolution, scope determination, and coordination of multiple stakeholders and partners’ interests are an integral component of this role.
Supervise the day-to-day operation of the multi-disciplinary technology development team.
Prepare proposals and estimates for new technology development projects.
Able to balance conceptual and hands-on work
Developing and delivering presentations and facilitating trainings
Ability to work on team-based projects, as well as work independently within shifting priorities
Identifying problems, drawing connections from various pieces of data, and taking action to solve
Fluency in using MS Office Suit, Knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Table, V / H- Look ups)
SAP / ERP knowledge would be a Plus
Requirements, Qualification & Experience :
Bachelors specializing in a Supply Chain Function
Preferably 1-3 Years of strong Operational / Supply Chain Experience / Technological Projects
Comfortable with occasional travelling and carrying out projects in liaison with shop floor teams
