MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES : Support business and technical teams in preparing RFPs / RFI / RFQ, SOW and changes / improvement in existing solutions / applications in PTCL echo system.

Technical design of desired IT solutions meeting standards and protocols for integration, data exchange, communications, software, and interconnection for information systems.

Liaison with vendors and solution stakeholders till successful IT project conclusion till contract sign off. The ability to analyze different OOTB IT solutions from vendors and recommend the best one to fulfil future requirements of company.

Responsible for preparing detailed requirement in form of scope for PTCL’s futuristic business requirements for BSS domain including CRM, SFA, Product Catalog, ESB, Convergent charging & Billing, pCRF / DPI, order fulfillment orchestration, digital and standard integrations.

Shall have understanding on Partner / dealer management, Compensation and commissioning solution, interconnect & wholesale billing Lead a systematic approach to optimizing BSS’s processes to achieve improved controls, increased service levels and the delivery of strategic plans Actively works with the wider teams and delivers outcomes to support their business strategy Lead and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and be a strong advocate and leader of change initiatives across BSS.

Plan & Conduct Procurement as per PTCL procurement manual where the Manager BSS Planning shall be responsible for technical evaluation and support to finalize contract with solution provider or agreement with in-house development teams, as per the situation.

Engage with stakeholders to ensure agreed business value is achieved. Shall possess and demonstrate strong ability to solve a problem independent, negotiate and influence as per company needs.

Contribute and at times lead for the technical design of desired solutions meeting standards and protocols for integration, data exchange, communications, software and interconnection for information systems.

Ensure that all proposed solutions are future proof, meet the strategies & policies of PTCLGroup and follow industry best practices.

Support change management activities to secure proper adoption. Shall have strong understanding of Telecom latest OSS / BSS solutions, Customer life Cycle and eTOM model The Manager BSS planning shall have understanding on complete BSS domain for both Fixedline and Mobile GSM business, and can communicate the challenges effective The Manager BSS planning shall have good knowledge of Micro service based architecture along with understanding on containerized cloud native deployment Help refine and determine feasibility, correctness, and completeness of end-user's requirement.

Coordinate and review / edit requirements from a variety of internal and external stakeholders including customer care, marketing, sales, technical teams and vendors.

Formulates requests for proposal / quotations / information, bid analysis, tenders, and risk evaluations. Handle follow-up work associated with RFPs moving to the next phase : coordinating answers, additional information requests, etc.

Evaluate and ensure user adoption and readiness Identify and manage anticipated resistance Ensure non-core team employee and end-user perspectives are incorporated into the design of the system and process changes Essential Knowledge Customer Experience Management, Converge Charging & Billing solutions, pCRF / DPI, CRM, Business Support Systems, Digital Solutions TM Forum (eTOM, TAM, SID and Integration Frameworks) and 3GPP PCC & DCC standards up to latest releases.

Strong Business Acumen, market research and innovative mindset. Strong Integration capabilities using Service Oriented Architecture and Middleware knowledge particularly IBM WebSphere, Oracle OSM, Oracle AIA & ESB.

Strong communication skills Basic knowledge of Financial Systems particularly SAP ERP. Qualifications Qualifications Minimum 16-year education in IT Experience : 5+ year experience in implementing and / or migrating BSS systems like CRM, OCS, Billing and charging / rating, order fulfillment orchestration, product catalogue, ESB etc.

  • for telecommunications operators. Experience of working with industry leading vendors is preferable.
