About Cloud & Network Services

Cloud and Network Services is a leading Nokia business group that offers Network solutions on Core, Business and Enterprise segments, as well as Cloud solutions and Cognitive Services.

It is a newly formed business group, that includes most of the former Nokia Software business, Nokia’s enterprise solutions, core network solutions including both voice and packet core, and managed and advanced services from its former Global Services unit.

This unit will also act as a delivery channel of certain products from other business groups to enterprise customers. Cloud and Network Services (CNS) will target growth by leveraging the industry transition to cloud-based delivery, network-as-a-service business models, and software-led value creation.

Job Description

The role entails NPO SME operating as a hands-on SME and at the same time managing a small team of SMEs driving network optimization at national level.

The SME will be working closely with NPO Manager & Operational Director as a Technical Lead and will be responsible for NPO technical domain e2e (Optimization, Core, transport).

This includes internal and external NPO technical management and regional support as and when required. The candidate will have immense NPO experience in all technologies and will need to be closely working on latest releases and trials in order to implement the same in the projects with a cognizant approach.

Multi-vendor experience in NPO covering all technologies (2g, 3g, 4g) and preferably 5g is mandatory for the role. Nokia & Zte experience is preferred.

Resolving technical issues, interfacing with Customer CxO, technical representatives. Tailoring technical project status reports and performance data to internal and customer management.

Leading the NPO team from the technical front.

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

Be able to technically drive the project at CxO & Director / Senior PM level with the customer. Be able to handle all escalations, avoid escalations and technically deliver in a cost effective manner

Have an indepth knowledge and experience in NPO domain in 2G, 3G and / or Lte for Nokia & Zte as a subject matter expert.

Be able to drive NPO strategy nationwide

Be able to guide NPO engineers and support in ramp up on critical Gaps

Be able to provide NPO support to the region at a professional level or via available SME pool

Qualifications

Bachelors in engineering (preferably electrical, telecom)
