Reporting To

JOb Purpose

The Head of Human Resources will be responsible to plan, review, develop and lead entire HR operations and ensure alignment of all HR practices in line with the labour law of Pakistan.

Also, s / he will be responsible to review existing HR practices & strategies and suggest improvements (where necessary) for enhanced HR service delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with Senior Leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Periodic review of existing HR policies and processes and suggest improvements in-line with organizational objectives.
  • Lead Human Resources functions and review existing HR strategies to meet programmatic requirements.
  • Identify recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for effective talent management.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with the labour law of Pakistan.
  • Lead the activity of reviewing HR’s Employee Handbook every two years and makes changes where required.
  • Supervise the Human Resources team through effective division of tasks. Establish and define departmental goals and KPIs for meeting targets.
  • Infiltrate the highly recognized educational institutions as ambassador of IRD Pakistan and create IRD’s awareness amongst students for job opportunities.
  • Effectively structure benefits / compensation programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Present HR progress in the quarterly board meetings and guide senior management on current human resources trends and developments.
  • Collaborate with Department / Program Leads for projecting staff needs; develop staffing plans based on new programs.
  • Supervise job documentation, such as job descriptions and provide consultation in the areas of reward, recognition, performance management, retention, dispute resolution and policy.
  • Advise, help and support Department / Program Leads on job reclassifications, promotions / demotions and salary determination.
  • Establish and maintain an appropriate network of professional contacts, including but not limited to recruitment agencies, headhunting firms, HR consultancies and placement offices.
  • Oversee employees’ health and life insurance.
  • Oversee ePayroll and HR information and ensure the system remains up-to-date at all times.
  • Performs other related tasks and duties assigned by the supervisor.
  • REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)

    Required Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Additional certification(s) in relevant field will be a plus.
  • Required Experience

  • At least 12-years of prior work experience, with 5 years in a management role.
