Job Purpose

Partner with In Country Shared Services / E2E / CTC / Internal & External Auditors

Education & Experience :

CA / ACCA / MBA (Finance) with industry experience up to 2 years

Deep understanding of IFRS and local accounting and reporting process

Strong Analytical Skills

Ability to handle pressure situations and meet short deadlines

Key Responsibilities :

Participate in timely reporting and submission of monthly, quarterly, annual management and statutory reporting of financial statements

Ensure all accounting treatments, reporting requirements, revenue and capital expenditure are compliant with the latest version of GSK Global Finance SOPs, IFRS and local statutory requirements

Lead preparation of supplementary Board papers on quarterly basis related to key business matters and statutory requirements.

Assist in smooth month end closing exercise by coordinating effectively with ICSS, E2E and CTC teams to ensure appropriate entries have been recorded

Review and report on significant budgetary variances, identifying any remedial action that needs to be taken. Analyze the month end financial position, investigate variances and make appropriate adjustments if necessary in line with internal procedures.

Review reporting of sales and track weekly progress

Perform impairment testing of Goodwill

Continuously work with ICSS to improve reporting process

Work with ICSS to ensure master data & sub ledger integrity

Track SG&A / Capex spend, ensure timely escalation and resolve accounting issues.

Monitor departmental cross charges and allocations

Review monthly accruals and identify material adjustments

Support the business with delivering critical projects to ensure business sustainability & growth aspirations

Prepare presentations and facilitate finance business partners in support of commercial teams

Coordinate with internal / external auditors

Maintain database of significant contracts
