Job Description

Po1 Sr. Manager Media & Digital Engagement will lead the development of cross-discipline media communication & planning and also traditional & digital media across all brands.

Further responsibilities entails, strategizing A&M expenditure at BU level for PAK BU Foods & Beverages and responsible for owning media procurement & relationship with media agencies.

Core Marketing Responsibilities :

  • Leads media strategy development across all brands.
  • Evaluates, assesses, and recommends the most effective media to satisfy marketing objectives & oversee the translation of these strategies into the final media recommendations / plans.
  • Leads development & delivery of scale digital & interactive media platforms to drive reach and drive deep consumer engagement
  • Leads development & delivery of Out of Home Media strategy, continued monitoring and effectiveness evaluation
  • Responsible for A&M allocation for all brands to maximize working / non-working efficiency to 80 / 20 ratio.
  • Owns A&M / media score-carding / reporting to BU and Regional teams.
  • Owns agency engagement process; defining objectives and deliverables, negotiating fees, awarding business executing contracts, assessing results.
  • Owns agency 360 evaluation, linking compensation to results against objectives.
  • Responsible for owning media relationship with media agency partners.
  • Working together with brand teams, ensures media deliverables are met and aligned with overall marketing goals / objectives.
  • Building media / digital annual operating plans in line with brand plans and KPIs
  • Manage Joint business planning with key publishers in the market.
  • Responsible for determining budget allocation based on initiatives and projects approved by Director Marketing for implementation within the MU.
  • Leading media audits through 3rd parties, monitoring droppages and ensuring effective plough back
  • Responsible for delivery of media effectiveness evaluations (supported by Insights); including ROI. Helps to translate information and analysis into observations / lessons learned.
  • Responsible to provide media & digital marketing guidance, best practice sharing to build capability of BU marketing team.
  • Ensure that the audit / GCS process is properly implemented (be GCS compliant at all times)
  • Ensure suppliers are selected as per the GCS process and execute their duties as expected of them.
  • Ensure implementation and execution of processes in line with Internal Control guidelines (GCS)
  • Qualifications / Requirements

    Knowledge / Skill Experience Competencies

  • Strategic understanding of developing multi-media campaign mix and deciding on best spending levels on each medium.
  • Command over Media metrics for success including CPRP management. Reach frequency analysis for campaigns and media spend optimization models.
  • Strong negotiation skills with media channels and OOH vendors to ensure best possible rates for media purchases.
  • Established relationships with key media stake holders including sales directors of media and owners of OOH sites.
  • Aware of PEMRA & PBA laws and OOH by-laws to enable executions in line with local SOPs.
  • 8 to 10 years in similar capacity
  • Advanced Media & Digital engagement Understanding
  • Experienced in managing media for large scale advertiser to be able to advice on effective management of media plans.
