We’re looking for a highly driven and motivated Pricing Analyst for our New Verticals Team. You will play an instrumental role in developing and embedding a pricing culture and capability that balances customer needs and commercial targets, and supports the wider strategic agenda.

Responsibilities :

  • Define and develop tools to allow foodpanda New Verticals to easily manage pricing decisions
  • Create dashboards and monitor performance and effectiveness of the pricing initiatives
  • Closely monitor competitive pricing and understand the impact on pricing decisions
  • Stakeholder management with strong communication skills to explain complex pricing topics across multiple departments and markets
  • Ensure we provide value and choice to our consumers, both actual and perceived (vis a vis benchmarking with competition)
  • Requirements :

  • 3+ years experience in pricing, analytics, top-tier consultancy or a related field
  • A degree in marketing, business, computer science or a related field
  • Problem-solving skills to deliver quick and efficient solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and solve problems autonomously
  • Drive and self-motivation
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, fast learner of new tools; knowledge of analytical toolkit - SQL, Python, R are a plus.
  • Verbal & written fluency in English, additional languages is a plus
  • Capable at both desktop as well as market research and ready to get hands dirty with market visits and price scans of e-commerce competitors and traditional retailers
