JOB PURPOSE :

Responsible for leading SC team in Compliant and Safe operations creating and maintaining replenishment plans for market supply.

Develop and implement Stock In Trade in alignment with approved Business plan. Lead S&OP process aligning demand, with Production and supply plans ensuring smooth and timely deliveries to patients via distributors in line with Inventory targets.

Closely liaise with T&R to meet coverage targets and timely replenishment of customers’ orders validated by T&R. Continuously drive improvement in Distributor operations and tracking the same via KPI’s.

Ensure FGW operations are compliant to HSE and Quality requirements with minimum sales and expiry returns and optimal distribution costs.

Develop SC team members via structured training and succession plan to ensure their readiness for higher & challenging roles.

Maintain close coordination with cc members to deliver affiliate key projects.

SUPERVISED RESOURCES :

Sanofi Inventory Target, Customer Service, MAPE, FA, Sales Return and destruction target, Distribution Cost target, Head count target, Stock in trade Target, Fill rate, OTIF & Perfect Order target

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Efficiently monitor and report on daily basis (through eTMS with ITS support) inventory level holding by the distributors, and ensure to avoid the chances of stock shortages
  • Maintenance of Stock in Trade target as per approved affiliate Business Plan
  • Closely coordinate with IA in ensuring on daily basis stocks availability for sales-in and monitor via KPI’s
  • Integration and Launch of New Products and Businesses
  • Monthly S&OP meetings to align all concerned on Sales out Forecast and ensure that supply plan had been reviewed with all plants on monthly basis, resulting in timely supplies of products.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all KPI’s related to Sc operations to Zone and affiliate management.
  • Ensure FGW operations are compliant to HSE and Quality requirements with minimum sales and expiry returns and optimal distribution costs
  • Responsible for managing movement, tracking, warehousing and shipping of finished goods
  • Develop departmental standards that support lean principles and lead / implement processes
  • Develops / implements strategies that will increase the efficiency of goods movement and warehousing as well as reduce damage to product during loading and transit
  • Responsible for all logistics operations and support across all distribution channels
  • Drives the design, development, implementation and management of logistics solutions
  • Responsible for the strategic and operational planning of logistics operations

    JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS :

    Education :

    Masters Degree in Business Administration / Finanace or Supply

    Bachelors in Engineering would be be added advantage

    Experience & knowledge :

    Minimum 5 years in a leadership role in Supply Chain function of an FMCG or Pharma Company.

    Knowledge and experience in S&OP process, Demand forecasting & related tools, Supply planning / production planning, FGW operations, Safety, Hygiene, Logistics and Distribution Management.

    Understanding of PNL and SC impact both in Top & Bottom Line.

    Understanding on team building, succession planning and development
