Plan & manage cell Operations effectively to achieve daily and monthly Master Production Schedule.
Facilitate and monitor all maintenance activities to ensure smooth running of machines and reduction in downtimes. Provide full support to maintenance team to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
Driving the maintenance review process and providing timely feedback to maintenance team with respect to machine performance.
Ensure timely Production of finished good products from SMD to Finished Goods warehouse to meet market demand.
Develop the Line Master / 90-Day Plans to address losses and build capability
Lead execution of 90 Day Plans to eliminate losses using IWS tools
Monthly review of Line Master Plans and results
Drive breakthrough results in OEE, Planned and Unplanned Downtime while delivering against the Master Production Schedule
Lead issue resolution to Root Cause on the floor of chronic stops
Develop regular maintenance task lists for equipment and perform tasks with team members, develop solutions, and proactively reapply solutions to prevent future failures / issues
On the floor coaching of equipment owners
Lead 4 shift managers, 1 Process Lead and 1 Maintenance Lead to drive results
Engage and inspire team to perform at highest level in line with overall business and unit strategy.
Recognize and celebrate individual and team accomplishments to nurture a winning culture by effectively utilising company’s Reward and Recognition policy.
Prepare and implement action plans as an outcome of coaching process and ensure completion of Develop for direct reports.
Timely resolution of sensitive issues (if arises) with CBA to ensure smooth operations on the floor.
Lead organization through the IWS Phase Journey
Manage proactively cordial relationship with CBA while educating and engaging them on company initiatives to ensure smooth operations.
Sponsor forums to educate shop floor employees on company performance and various initiatives.
Synergize with other functions / departments to help deliver solutions that are relevant to the business needs by effectively utilizing all vehicles of communication.
Facilitate machinery and material suppliers during machinery installation / commissioning and material development.
Knowledge Skills & Experience
Leadership / Communication
Ability to lead and manage a team of 150 people (including shop floor employees)
Demonstrated leadership in the areas of safety and quality
Effective coaching and communication skills
Ability to present to small & large groups and clearly communicate messaging
High level of personal responsibility and accountability for results
Analytical / Problem Solving
Ability to work with data and information
Demonstrated ability to assimilate technical data to support recommendations
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Familiarity with structured problem tools, such as fishbone diagram, 5 why, RCA
Specific technical mastery on equipment useful
Education & Experience
Engineering Degree (from a reputable institute, preferably electrical or mechanical)
Similar experience of manufacturing of 4 to 6 year in FMCG
