Your Responsibilities : Job Purpose :

Job Purpose :

This Demand Planning position is responsible for Gather, analyze and validate data, all forecasting activities associated with aligned countries and their products.

The Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast models for their respected markets, validates data from required sources and work with closely with Demand Forecasting Manager, Customer Service Manager & Supply Managers to ensure all standard work activities in line with assigned calendar.

The Demand Planner is the integration point into HUB organization. Basic forecast modeling is the responsibility of this position.

This position leads the dialogue with Demand Forecasting Manager & Supply Planning Teams.

This is a regional position and connected with Middle East & North Africa. Potential Candidate has growing opportunity with regional exposure of best-in-class supply chain.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and generate PreDRM, KPI Tool, SCIM & SOLS summary reports, etc.
  • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Hub teams to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
  • Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
  • Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in New Item setup in APO, NPIs, and product phase-outs.
  • Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning
  • Basic qualifications :

  • 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain
  • MBA in Supply Chain or Finance
  • Gather, analyze and validate data

  • Execute statistical modeling for baseline forecast generation
  • Review resulting statistical forecast model
  • Apply error analysis techniques to improve forecasting
  • Summarize / aggregate statistical forecasts
  • Present, solicit, and assess feedback on the various forecasts from DFM
  • Recommend adjustments for operational forecasts such as MI, promotional and trade offer adjustment.
  • Achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process with RSDH
  • Prepare relevant material to facilitate research and discussion
  • Provide input to volume planning ( Latest Estimates / annual process)
  • Maintain demand planning system and software
  • Enter and modify data and ensure the correctness of product hierarchy
  • Monitor trends in forecast error
  • Identify relevant market-related data and competitive intelligence
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process
  • Preferred qualifications :

    Degree in Supply Chain or relevant field
