The Head of Marketing Pakistan & SAGE a is responsible for the development and implementation of the Pakistan & SAGE marketing strategy and program plans that support short-time pipeline and revenue needs as well as long-term market development objectives. The role is part of the Oracle Pakistan & SAGE leadership team and measured on impact around brand/purchase consideration, pipeline generation and revenue. This individual will be a strategic partner and marketing consultant for the business and have accountability for the marketing plan to support the revenue goals and growth objectives of Oracle Pakistan & SAGE.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Develop the local marketing strategy and program plans in support of pipeline, thought leadership, and market expansion objectives. Ensure seamless execution of campaigns planned with committed ROI.
  • Act as strategic marketing consultant to country sales team and actively participate in the business planning process.
  • Collaborate across ASEAN Marketing and Pakistan & SAGE field support organizations to identify strategic revenue and market potential opportunities for Oracle Cloud solutions. Drive a 4x rolling pipeline by identifying and developing new pipeline growth programs by sales segment, industry and LoB audience. Monitor pipeline gaps consistently to meet business needs with sufficient pipeline from Marketing.
  • Drive account based marketing plans and programs to support sales development and large deals across Oracle Pakistan & SAGE’s key, strategic and large account segment. Participate in strategic account planning process and regular cadence to develop 360 account-based marketing programs aligned to sales cycles and account development objectives.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop high impact campaign messages, value propositions and offers for each prioritized strategic opportunity in the Pakistan & SAGE market.
  • Build customer success stories
  • Collaborate with ASEAN and APAC marketing teams to share best practices and bringing them to the regional attention. Actively voice local marketing needs and requirements to create economies of scale in planning and execution. Ensure that local marketing campaign tactics are appropriate and aligned with campaign effectiveness guiding principles and rules of engagement, and industry prioritization. Actively explore and test innovative new tactics as appropriate and deploy the full marketing communications mix to C-level decision makers.
  • Lead marketing operations around data integrity, budget management and controlling and achievement of local KPI’s. Drive adoption of demand management methodologies to support forecast accuracy and business predictability. Regularly review pipeline summary reports to understand the impact of programs on pipeline growth, and follow up on pending/stagnant leads.

  • Brand steward for the geography.
  • Understand, embrace, and cascade the company strategy to build organizations and empower sales organization.
  • Build open, honest relationships with senior-level peers and share feedback from these peers with own department staff to foster a dialogue of ongoing feedback within Oracle
  • Sales stakeholder management in Pakistan & SAGE – ability to align and work closely with sales to understand business priorities
  • Reputation for producing real, measurable results and consistently exceeding business goals
  • Required skills, competencies and experiences:

  • 10-15 years of relevant marketing and sales experience in the Pakistan & SAGE IT market with a focus on Cloud solutions and marketing to C-levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering marketing plans, programs and strategies and prior experience working collaboratively with and influencing senior sales management. Ability to manage program execution
  • Deep knowledge of Digital Marketing skills and application of digital impact in relevant campaigns
  • Ability to collaborate, inspire and influence others to achieve combined goals.
  • Excellent planning and analytical skills combined with focus on delivery and passion for tangible results. Able to use dashboards and tools to provide insights to the business.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and executive management.
  • The initiative to work independently in a self-directed environment
  • Excellent understanding of the needs of sales teams and channel partners.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Economics, specialization in Marketing preferred, MBA preferred 
  • Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    Plans, executes, and measures demand generation marketing programs to grow sales pipeline and revenue for Field Sales organization.

    Meets with Sales leaders to create strategic marketing plan in support of pipeline and revenue objectives. Participant on Sales leadership team and regular pipeline and forecast review meetings. Develops and implements tactical marketing programs in conjunction with Sales, Channels, Product Marketing, Product Management, Oracle Direct (Telesales), and external influencers such as user groups and industry trade associations. Provides onsite execution support for marketing programs. Tracks lead flow to ensure the appropriate Sales channels are following up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner. Creates and manages program budget, measures ROI through metrics analysis and reporting. Acts as a virtual team liaison for corporate business initiatives, programs and launches. Provides recommendations on program delivery to HQ virtual team leads. Communicates program status, action items, and deliverables across Field Marketing team and Sales.

    Excellent interpersonal skills. Exhibits a high degree of resourcefulness and persistence. Ability to provide consultative input to senior Sales leaders. Experience with business management and operations, including finance/revenue/pipeline principles. Proven ability to engage customers in dialogue about their business needs and IT solutions. Excellent written and verbal skills, and ability to work on far-flung virtual teams. High degree of technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed. Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes from event design to execution to lead flow.
