3. To co-ordinate and liaison closely with neighboring villages for healthy and effective relations.

Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Safeguard people and property of the company - Preparation of security deployment plan

  • Dealings with outsourcing agency for selection of right guards
  • Selection and development of own Supervisory staff
  • Keeping high morale of security team
  • Liaison with police and local administration in case of theft or any other untoward incidents No. of cases for non-compliance
  • Risk assessment & mitigation - Time to time internal & external assessment of Site security measures from internal and external threats.

  • Continuous improvement in patrolling systems for proactive actions based on symptoms. Schedule of assessment
  • Compliance of actions suggested

    Managing people movement - Develop and execute systems for people movement from different entry points (employees, other unit employees, Visitors, vendors, government officials & contract employees)

  • SOPs / checklist for all systems related to people movement
  • Monitoring and tracking through reports, CCTV monitoring and online systems (eg; Swiping / punching system, Visitor entry system etc.
  • Compliance of SOP's & checklist.

    Uptime of Online systems

    Managing vehicle & material movement - Develop and execute system for systematic flow & checking of vehicles and related documents.

  • Ensure RGP & NRGP system in place.
  • Compliance to all SOPs / checklist on safety parameters and product related information
  • Discipline of truckers and tank drivers
  • Monitoring and tracking through reports, CCTV monitoring and online systems (eg; Vehicle tracking system) Compliance of SOP's & checklist.
  • Compliance of VTS system

    Clean and Green environment - Effective management of housekeeping and horticulture services

  • Contracts renewal and overseeing contract labor
  • Ensure green cover as per norms - maintain and update inventory of trees for compliance
  • Landscaping for beautification of site Budget vs Actuals of Housekeeping and Horticulture
  • Compliance of Statutory requirement of Green belt

    Feedback score of Housekeeping execution

    Satisfied employees - support services

    Transport, canteen, Furniture, Printing & stationary - Providing wholesome and hygienic food and services to employees in shifts

  • Providing cost effective employee transport services in all shifts
  • Providing and maintenance of furniture and fixtures at the plant Budget vs Actual
  • Service feedback (no. of complaints)

    Satisfied services of Transit house, Chummery, Hotel & Taxi - Maintain high standards of upkeep at transit accommodation and company flats

  • Provide on-time and high quality standard services for Hotel and taxi requirements Budget vs Actual
  • Service feedback (no. of complaints)

    IMS - Ensure compliance with statutory and IMS - requirements of Security & Administration services No. of non-compliances

    Community Relations - Regular and proactive contact with the local community in terms of support required for improve their quality of life and addressing any grievances because of our factory set-up No. of issues unresolved

    Vendor Management - Ensure vendor evaluation process in terms of Quality, Cost, Delivery & service

  • Implement cost effective monitoring systems
  • Contract agreements with all vendors and timely renewals.
  • On-time payment to vendors
  • Ensure statutory compliance with all vendors Budget vs Actual
  • CCTV operations - Strategic planning of cameras positioning

  • Monitoring for abnormalities round the clock through control room
  • Highlighting / initiating actions for corrections Uptime of CCTV system
  • Position Specification

    Educational Qualification Graduate / Post-Graduate

    Nature of experience Relevant experience of working in Manufacturing industry handling liasioning, security and admin, preferably from Defence background.

    Duration of experience 12 Years & above (with 5 to 10 years- service in military at commissioned officer rank)

    Role specific competencies Planning and Execution, Leadership, Achievement Orientation, Communication, Analysis and problem Solving, Interface Skills, Customer Focus, Aligns to Change.

    Well versed with Security protocol systems and CCTV operations.

    Analytical abilities & hands on with Computer operations.
