Role purpose

  • To drive sales competencies development of Sales team
  • To execute coaching and development culture aimed at increasing sales productivity in the organization
  • To create and implement training programs helping sales people to strengthen their capabilities
  • to establish sales processes and frameworks that enhance sales performance and evaluation of sales productivity
  • Accountabilities

  • Develop and drive sales team capability development to assist in business delivery
  • Deploy processes to improve sales competency and value selling capability in the sales organization
  • Develop and implement training plans based on the zone requirements / GTM approach for sales team and embed Syngenta Ways of working through on the job coaching, in field and classroom training
  • Develop Sales Competencies framework
  • Drive and monitor performance evaluation and coaching between the line managers and teams
  • Support in identifying potential of high performers and work to build on their capabilities
  • Establish a pool of best practices and train the team to improve KPI performance
  • Establish and evaluate metrics for assessing training effectiveness
  • Analyze and evaluate training needs on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain training budget
  • Capability

  • Strong commercial Acumen ideally with experience in Marketing or sales
  • Excellent leadership, presentation and communication skills
  • Capability to manage teams
  • Demonstrate problem solving and creativity
  • Strong Project management skills
  • critical experience

  • experience of managing sales team
  • ideally a minimum 8 years of experience
