This role is overall responsible for all commercial aspects of a defined commercial office and aligned geographies. Main focus is to localize and drive execution of the area commercial strategy and all related sales activities in locations allocated to him / her to achieve the Commercial targets of respective office.

Key responsibilities

  • Accountable for all sales activities within geographical area
  • Direct responsibility for new and existing customers with focus on allocated trade lanes
  • Effective sales process implementation
  • Act as a coach for cross functional teams in providing best in class service to the cutomers while being the face of the organization in front of the customer
  • Accountable for flawless interaction with CSO / Operations and Finance team.
  • An individual :

  • Possessing Bachelors / Masters or equivalent degree in business or related field.
  • 2 - 3 years of corporate sales experience in logistics / shipping industry; selling Ocean, Air and Value Added Services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other technical software.
  • The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
