POSITION TITLE :
Production Planning Executive PURPOSE OF THE JOB :
The position is responsible for planning and adjusting production volumes for the entire PMPKL brands portfolio, aligned with market demands, so as to ensure timely product availability for shipment along with optimum utilization of manufacturing resources.
Organize the S&OP cycle, and monthly Business review meetings.
Track and Report Production & Supply Planning KPIs (Production Reliability, Sales Forecast Accuracy, Days of Inventory, Plant capacity utilization%, Inventory value (Sticks and mio $), Inventory Ageing, WC impact, LOGD, Production planning and Scheduling cycle completion %, Short term Plan changes, etc.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :
ACCOUNTABILITY 1 MASTER PRODUCTION PLAN & INVENTORY MANAGEMENT- Detailed production schedule on a Daily, weekly and monthly basis for a planning horizon of 1-
12 months by optimizing machine and labor utilization while meeting demand, factory KPIs and achieving the agreed inventory levels-
Ensure plan is executed by closely working with Primary and Secondary supervisors and Manager- Monitor stock, analyze, anticipate and take corrective actions to ensure the availability of the stock in warehouses on time in order to fulfill the customers performance as well as assist them in making business decisions-
Monitors and measures Production Adherence (Plan vs Actual) - Daily & Monthly- Highlights and helps address issues of non-
adherence-Finished Goods Inventory Ageing Report-Daily Production & Sales Report-Sales Forecast Accuracy ACCOUNTABILITY 5SYSTEM-
Weekly Indep upload ( SAP) or as required- Weekly Planned Order Creation ( SAP)- Support upcoming SC Tools ( Scipio BW etc)-
Check if all needed specifications are availableexisting in related planning systems ACCOUNTABILITY 6Implement production, inventory, shipment, sourcing and distribution strategies by efficiently allocating supply chain resources to maximize profit or minimize system-wide cost.
Ensure availability of adequately efficient and effective tools, systems and processes to proactively identify report, follow up and eliminate any obsolete materials and redundancies throughout the supply chain.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTEnsure continuous performance improvement by initiating the development and improvement of business processes in order to identify opportunities to support achievement of shortlong term performance objectives.
Promote proactivity, creativity and innovation amongst the team members.
Support the implementation of added value changes.Initiate and actively support departmental, cross-departmental and PMI projects in order to ensure the effective implementation and adequate coverage of business processes and needs.
Efficiently take advantage of expertise and qualifications of hisher subordinate team.
Strongly engage in the implementation of strategic changes in processes, cultural and organizational changes in the company.
ACCOUNTABILITY 7Provide production plans and machine loading projections in the budget cycle by analyzing Original Volume Forecast and production capacity and capabilities.
Propose relevant equipment modificationsacquisitions to address Factory capacity and capability limitations in medium and long-term horizon.
Ensure timely submission of OB plans to other departments for their respective budgeting processes.
Define the optimum stock policy for portfolio and revise it regularly in line with business dynamics (sales and production).
ACCOUNTABILITY 8 Ensure that all aforementioned responsibilities are carried out in compliance with PMI policies with a special focus on Code of Conduct related ones and ensure that subordinates know and follow them.
Ensure that EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) is integrated into all activities and adherence to EHS Policy & Procedures is strictly maintained.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Education :
Master in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain or equivalent Work experience :
2-3 years in Supply Chain.
Atleast 1 year experience in Supply Planning and Control.
