The British Council in Pakistan is recruiting temporary staff in the Arts Programme based in Karachi.
Purpose of Job
To support the Arts SBU in the role of Coordinator for WOW Pakistan (KHI and Hunza)
Key Accountabilities, Responsibilities and Duties :
a) Work closely with the Arts team to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders / partners.
b) To support creative and intellectual research and programming of the WOW festivals in Karachi and Hunza.
c) To lead on the paperwork / documentation, communication and data management related to the project, including business development materials to help secure funding from partners, and evaluation and monitoring reports.
e) Develop and maintain contacts database for the Arts SBU.
c) Work hands on at WOW events; support event organization and people management
Person Specification :
a) Strong English and Urdu communication skills, especially writing skills in English.
b) Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
c) Experience in making presentations and reports
d) Experience of working with corporate clients & organising events will be a major plus
