Team Leader Secondary Purpose of Job : Lead, coordinate and organize all production and maintenance related activities in dedicated area of responsibility within established procedures and practices in order to ensure that volumes, performance and productivity departmental targets are met while maintaining quality, safety and environmental standards.
Principal AccountabilitiesDirect subordinates and ensure that all relevant procedures, instructions and good manufacturing and maintenance practices are applied in daily work in order to ensure that daily production schedules, product quality, maintenance standards and other production performance objectives are met while maintaining brand security standards.
Lead, organize and control the work of team employees, motivate and coach them in order to ensure objectives achievement, good working relations and employee’s development.
Timely inform his / her superior, colleagues about the events during the shift, discuss related problems and agree on action plans thus contribute to uninterrupted operation at required performance level.
Continuously and timely analyze available area of responsibility related activities data and KPI, and take adequate corrective actions or / and provide timely feedback and recommendations for corrective actions which are out of BU scope in order to ensure performance objectives achievement, support continuous improvement and best practices implementation.
Ensure that all relevant EHS procedures and rules are followed by his / her subordinates. Motivate them by his / her example.
Continuously strive for risk-free and healthy working environment within the own area of responsibility, seeking to ensure compliance to legal, EHS policies and procedures, avoid accidents, occupational illnesses and losses.
Carry out the maintenance activities needed during the shift in order to minimise interruption of production. Ensure daily / weekly production targets are being met and coordinate so that daily production data is entered into information systems and that required reports are made .
Ensure that all the employees under responsibilty attend to training activities based on the business needs and employee needs in order to improve the know-
how on the business Develop subordinates to enhance bench strength of the IC team. Provide coaching and specific developmental goals for each staff.
Skills and Competencies : Education : Graduate Engineer / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering Work Experience : 5-9 Years
